Vehicle crime - Insecure vehicles

Please be vigilant in your local area.

For the past two weeks, vehicles have been targeted in theft from motor vehicles offences most frequently when the vehicles are insecure. There have also been an increase of interference crimes, where fortunately vehicles have been locked when the offender is attempting entry. No particular property is stolen once the offender is inside the vehicle. Consider social media posts about preventing these types of crimes, ie double checking your vehicle is locked before going to bed.
